| This project took some thinking. I wanted an animated witch. I started out with an oscilating fan and attached it to a wood frame, beefed it up with some chicken wire, 1/2" thick foam and duct tape to give it form. The fan had to have the blades removed, and the spindle the blade attaches to removed.( This was cut off with a hack saw, flush with the motor housing) At the time I didn't think about air flow for the fan motor , it ended up burning up. |

| I added a bubbling cauldron, with a stir stick, and a fog machine. The fog machine is hidden under the little table with the candle on it. The latex hands I ordered off of ebay, but I think those will be changed, as I had a hard time keeping them in place. |

| I threw on an old latex mask and turned her on. |

| The stirpot wasn't hard to make. I used a bought cauldron, as large as I could find, and added an old rotisserie motor from a grill. It is attached to a piece of wood that is screwed to the bottom. I then added a piece of 3/4" dowl to a piece of aluminun stock connected to the motor and placed a 2' piece of PVC over that.. I plugged it in and it worked like a charm. You just have to remember to off set the motor a bit and make sure it doesn't have too large of a radius. |

| This is the final piece. She moves her head from side to side and stirs her witches brew at the same time. I put a cd player under her skirt that repeated a witches chant.. I also added some orange and red flashing christmas lights under the cauldron and covered them with logs. The fogger was on a timer and piped into the cauldron as well as into the logs. It was quite a sight! |
| I just have to say,, this whole thing got started when I decided I was going to delve into the realm of latex mask making. I do have a project started that was originally suppose to go on this witch. Eventually it will. She will get a complete overhaul this summer. I'll post new pictures when she's done. |
